UPDATE: One firefighter injured as crews responded to fire at State Historical Society Building

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Firefighters in Iowa City responded overnight to a fire on the roof of the State Historical Society Building, also known as the Centennial Building, at the corner of Iowa Avenue and Gilbert Street in downtown Iowa City.

Crews received a call regarding the fire at approximately 11:57 p.m. Thursday, and arrived on scene within three minutes.
