Deputies help move ‘beast’ alligator from front yard of Houston home

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A surprise visitor had deputies scrambling in Houston on Tuesday morning, as a large alligator was found lounging in the front yard of a home.

According to Harris County Precinct 3 Constable Sherman Eagleton, a man had walked outside of his home on Tuesday morning to see the “glorious beast hanging out in his front yard.”

Deputies and a professional wrangler teamed up to safely remove the gator, hoisting it onto a trailer attached to a pickup truck. Officials said it was taken to a secure, undisclosed location…
