LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — It’s the Fourth of July weekend, and many are preparing to fire up their grills for the holiday festivities. However, it is important to be aware that this popular holiday also comes with dangers.
According to recent statistics, about 10,000 grill-related fires occur annually, resulting in more than $150 million in property damage. These incidents also lead to an estimated 160 serious injuries and 10 deaths each year.
