The Illinois State Police have released the name of the man shot and wounded in an officer involved shooting incident last week in Carroll County.
59-year old Mark Feltmeyer of Freeport was arrested Tuesday after being discharged from the hospital. Feltmeyer faces numerous charges for the incident on the night of June 25th which all started with the report of a stolen vehicle in Freeport and ended early the next morning in Savanna.
Authorities say Feltmeyer resisted arrest which resulted in damage to a squad car, and officers firing their weapons and Feltmeyer being struck by gunfire…
