The Longmont Humane Society announced on July 2 that it has more than 20 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙨 in the shelter that are in need of 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨. The shelter is having an adoption special for the cats, in which two barn cats can be adopted for the price of one at $40. The shelter is also offering rabies vaccinations for $30 per cat.
The humane society said that the hardworking barn cats are independent and perfect for barns, shops, or warehouses. Barn cats are semi-domesticated cats that live in a working farm setting, with their purpose being to catch pests like mice. The humane society said that all that the cats require is a warm place to sleep, fresh water, and daily food.
