SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Utah Transit Authority has reopened the TRAX Red Line to the University of Utah campus from July 3-5 to service events at Rice-Eccles Stadium occurring this weekend. Riders will also be able to use UTA’s Ticket As Fare program to get free rides to Monster Jam World and Western Stampede.
UTA is encouraging travelers to plan ahead and to use public transit for events over the Fourth of July weekend.
UTA has been performing maintenance on the TRAX Red Line between Courthouse and University Medical Center Stations, which means that there has been no service between those stations.
