Isaac Laushaul, the man accused in the death of Reba, a bulldog left in suffocating heat last summer, was granted bail during a court appearance yesterday. The bail was set at $100,000, as reported by 8NewsNow. On top of this, the judge has mandated high-level electronic monitoring for Laushaul should he manage to post bail.
Laushaul’s connection to the case has to been widely covered, especially given the fact Reba was found in a sealed plastic tub near a dumpster on Twain Avenue near Maryland Parkway, during a time when temperatures soared to 110 degrees. The report further indicates that, as of yesterday afternoon, Laushaul was still in custody at the Clark County Detention Center. Clark County District Court records reveal that his trial is set for late August, but his attorney has already sought to have the trial moved due to the intense media scrutiny surrounding the case.
Meanwhile, Markeisha Foster, the other defendant in the case, appears to have quickly resolved her part in the proceedings.
