RAVENA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Coeymans Police (CPD) responded to a truck crash involving a pedestrian on Wednesday in Ravena. The crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. near Main Street and Russell Avenue.

Officers responding to the crash determined that a 53-year-old Ravena resident was reportedly struck by a pickup truck turning onto Russell Avenue from Main Street as the man was crossing the intersection. Ravena Rescue Squad personnel tended to the pedestrian before he was taken to Albany Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
Police stated the truck driver cooperated with investigators and was issued a ticket for ‘Failing to use Due Care.’ The Ravena Fire Department and the Albany County Sheriff’s Office assisted CPD and the Ravena Rescue Squad at the scene.
