FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The suspect who stole nearly $40,000 worth of fireworks from the Bullard High School fireworks stand has been arrested.
After days of investigation, local law enforcement says Davina Cruz, 24, was arrested Thursday night in connection with several charges, including burglary. Her bail was set at $10,000 and she has since been bailed out.
While the Runnin’ Knights Booster Club is happy to see an arrest, not all of the stolen inventory has been recovered. Now, time is running out for the Bullard High Boys’ Basketball Team as they work to sell the fireworks they do have.
