Last month, Palm Beach County took a decisive step toward modernizing its infrastructure by initiating construction on a new facility for the Planning, Zoning & Building (PZB) Department’s Building Division. This event, held last Monday, June 23, was attended by the County Commissioners, key staff, and vested community members. Located at Vista Center, 2300 N. Jog Road, the new building is poised to be a hub for both regular operations and critical emergency response activities.
The project consists of a 58,000-square-foot office building stretched over two floors, a corresponding parking garage, and an elevated walkway for easy access to the existing structures. In a statement obtained by Palm Beach County Newsroom, PZB Executive Director Whitney Carroll expressed enthusiasm about the future. “We’re excited for what’s ahead, and we look forward to continuing to serve the community in this exceptional new space,” said Carroll.
