CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) has deployed resources to assist with severe weather and flooding response efforts across Central Texas.
According to Assistant Chief Tony Perez, CCFD has sent members of its Incident Management Team along with the department’s AMBUS — a specialized ambulance bus used for mass casualty or evacuation scenarios. A total of 11 CCFD personnel are involved in the deployment.
The deployment is in response to a statewide request for assistance as communities across Central Texas deal with significant flooding and storm impacts. The department’s participation is part of a coordinated emergency response effort involving multiple jurisdictions…
