Token Creek Independence Day parade brings out the water works

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The annual Token Creek parade, held in celebration of the Fourth of July, featured floats, candy and lots and lots of water.

To beat the summer heat, many parade-goers and participants wore swimsuits and brought squirt guns, water balloons and even hoses to spray at each other.

“They embrace it here. Some of the houses even bring out their hoses and let everybody fill up their squirt guns,” said James Gould, who lives along the parade route. ”I mean it’s a ball, you see the amount of water you see, the street is literally a river running down it by the end of the parade.”…
