WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Meteorologist Adrian Campa says it was another warm, breezy, and muggy day. The increasing humidity is helping set the stage for possible storm chances for parts of Kansas this Holiday weekend.
The first of several rounds of showers and storms will move across the state on Friday. An isolated storm cannot be ruled out during the afternoon, but the main line will impact western Kansas after 6 p.m. and not arrive in south central Kansas until after midnight. While widespread severe weather is not expected, some of the storms will be strong.
Lingering Saturday morning storms will come to a stop, but additional activity is possible, if not likely both Saturday night and Sunday night. While a few strong storms are possible, the bigger concern will be heavy rainfall and localized flooding…
