(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Two 18-year-olds and one 15-year-old were arrested after allegedly stealing $7,000 worth of jewelry.
At around 1 a.m. on Friday, July 4, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Motor Vehicle Theft unit received a notification of a stolen gray 2013 Dodge Charger moving through the city. Detectives from Burglary and Theft units began surveilling the car near Woodmen Road and North Academy Boulevard.
While watching the car, police witnessed three individuals break into Jared Jewelers. The Tactical Enforcement Unit was summoned to the area due to the history of the vehicle and was able to pin the stolen vehicle against the building…
