NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Due to a maintenance emergency, the New Mexico Wildlife Center will be closed for the time being. According to the Wildlife Center, as soon as staff walked into the building Thursday morning, they saw their lobby flooded.

NMWC said they expect repairs to be ongoing through the weekend and possibly into next week. The center is still caring for the animals already in their care, but their hospital will be accepting a limited amount of new wildlife.
