GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) —Wild moments were captured on video on a West Valley freeway when a driver of the tanker truck led multiple Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers on a pursuit Friday afternoon.
The pursuit happened just after 1 p.m. minutes after they attempted to stop the tanker on the Loop 202 near Dobson Road in Mesa. Video obtained by Arizona’s Family showed several DPS vehicles following a tanker truck for several miles along Interstate 10.
Ultimately, the driver pulled over near the Loop 303 interchange and was detained, DPS confirmed. At this point, the reason for the initial traffic stop remains unclear…
