Lebanon’s ENTEK helps fire district with truck overhaul savings

LEBANON, Ore. – The Lebanon Fire District is receiving a significant boost from local business ENTEK. The company is assisting the District by transporting a 2007 Pierce fire engine to Henderson, Nevada, for refurbishment, said fire district officials.

LFD officials said that refurbishing the engine will extend its service life at roughly one-third the cost of purchasing a new unit. This comes as the cost of new fire engines has risen by 17 to 21 percent annually since 2020, authorities said.
