Man charged with murder in suspected Tempe road rage shooting

A 46-year-old man faces a first-degree murder charge connected to a shooting that left another man dead near Warner Road and Priest Drive, Tempe police said.

The shooting occurred 12:15 p.m. July 1. Tempe police and Phoenix Fire Department personnel responded to a call regarding a road rage shooting. They found Steven Bevan, 29, had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to a release.
