BUFFALO, N.Y. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers recently arrested a man who possessed a stolen firearm.
It all began on Tuesday, when “the driver made a U-turn on the Peace Bridge and attempted to avoid the inspection process.” The man — a U.S. citizen — was driving a vehicle with a New York plate.
Federal agents flagged down the driver, who possessed a loaded firearm. He was escorted to a secondary inspection, where officers determined that the firearm was reported as stolen out of Tarpon Springs, Fla., according to the National Crime Information Center database…
