Most of 260 dogs recovered from northwest Georgia home adopted, but your help still needed

DADE COUNTY, Ga. — Three days after the shocking discovery of over 260 animals at a home in Dade County, Georgia, we have an update on how those animals are now doing.

We learned on Friday that there are still a handful animals on the property that still haven’t been recovered.

Audray Luck from Luck’s Rescue told us she returned to the property on Sells Lane on Thursday night, as some dogs remain without food and water.

We went back with some live traps, and we were able to catch three of the four chows in the backyard. When we got onto the property, the Chows were just very scared,” said Luck.

Regarding that last dog still in the backyard, Luck said,

We are reevaluating this morning and trying to get a plan put together to figure out how we can get the dog into our care as soon as possible.

Rescue operations are still underway to ensure the welfare of the remaining animals…
