The 2025 Trailblazer Awards Banquet was held June 19 at Clement Railroad Hotel Museum-Hotel Halbrook State Historic Site with Executive Director Zacharie Kinslow recounting how there have always been people who blazed trails to build bridges, welcoming others to join them in fostering the good of humanity.
This year’s recipients, all special in their own right, also held a collective significance as it was the first time in the history of the award that all of the recipients were women who bring the true meaning of “blaze” to trailblazer.
