A Person County man was charged after he crashed into a home at 10th and Elm streets in Greenville, reports show.
About 4:28 a.m. June 27, Greenville police responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of 10th and Elm streets, a crash report said. A driver traveling east on 10th told police that his brake sensor had gone out and he had lost his brakes, veered off the road to the left, continued through a utility pole and into a residence.
A corresponding arrest report identified the driver as Kaleb Christopher Lawson, 24, of 168 Little Creek Road, Timberlake. The crash report said that city camera footage confirmed the vehicle crashed through a support cable on a utility pole and kept moving until it hit the residence at 1101 Elm St…
