HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Raytheon Co. has been awarded a substantial $77.2 million Department of Defense contract that will bring significant work to Huntsville over the next six years.
The requirements contract focuses on the production and sustainment of Miniaturized Airborne Global Positioning System Receivers (MAGR), critical navigation components used in military aircraft. The deal encompasses repairs, production, sustainment, and engineering services for the advanced MAGR-2K and 2K-M receiver systems.
