‘Veteran Freedom Night’ offers refuge from fireworks in Maryville

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. — A South Blount County business along the “Tail of the Dragon” and an East Tennessee organization for veterans are teaming up to offer a safe place for military veterans to enjoy the Fourth of July.

Dragon City, on the Highway 72 and Highway 129 split, is offering Veteran Freedom Night at their restaurant from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, although hours are flexible.
