RICHMOND, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Richmond aquatic center where a 7-year-old boy drowned has passed inspection, city officials said on Thursday.
On Monday, June 30, emergency crews responded to Paradise Cove Aquatic Center. Later that day, a notice from the City of Richmond said officials were “deeply saddened to learn” the boy involved had died at the hospital.

He was identified as Santino Montreal Yancey-Hardwick, age 7, of Lexington.
