BARTLETT, Tenn. (WMC) – Authorities report that two Shelby County homes erupted in flames this Independence Day, with fireworks believed to be responsible for at least one.

One of these fires, located in Bartlett, remains active as of 10 p.m. Friday. This news also comes as fireworks shows are at their peak.

The Bartlett Police Department confirmed that firefighters are actively battling a house fire in the area of Clairice Cove and Davies Manor Drive. No injuries have been reported yet; Action News 5 will provide updates on this fire when more information becomes available…
