ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A 61-year-old McDavid man is dead after being hit while riding a lawnmower in Escambia County on Friday night, according to FHP.
Troopers say the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when the man was operating a riding lawn mower in the right northbound travel lane of US-29, near East Bogia Road, when he was struck from behind by a Honda sedan.
