Baby raccoons rescued after wandering around North Port City Hall

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WFLA)— Three baby raccoons were rescued after wandering around City Hall in North Port on Thursday.

“Some visitors are now in good hands thanks to City staff,” The City of North Port-Government said in a post on Facebook.

The three baby raccoons were wandering around with no mom to be found.

According to the City of North Port, development services staff saw the babies and called the Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida, which partners with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services.
