More hot, humid weather with some rain in southeast Texas this weekend

HOUSTON (KIAH) — While the focus of the weather activity is on central Texas with the severe flooding, it should be another hot and humid weekend in Houston and southeast Texas.

Heavy rainfall will continue Saturday in central Texas, ranging from Austin to San Antonio. That area is expecting another 3 to 4 inches of rain, which will create more flooding in a region that has seen flooding leading to the deaths of 24 people on Friday.

But that storm system will not affect southeast Texas, as it will move to the northeast. But there will be some isolated thunderstorms that could form later Saturday afternoon.

High temperatures will stay around the low-to-mid 90s on Saturday, and lows in the mid-70s…
