A newly released budget calls for cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The document proposes giving no funding to the agency’s climate laboratories or regional climate data, and zeroing out research at NOAA weather research programs and weather laboratories. This also includes tornado and severe storm research.
