Amtrak said demand has increased this weekend for trains from Albany to New York City, but some travelers experienced severe delays both Thursday and Friday.
The most recent delay on Friday had passengers stuck in Hudson for a bit. Amtrak is blaming mechanical issues. The passengers were transferred to another train within a couple of hours.
