A local organization is making a significant impact in the lives of abandoned dogs throughout the county, providing care and new opportunities for strays.
Friends of Abandoned Dogs is part of a coalition called BakersfieldStrays, alongside nonprofit partners START Rescue and Southern California Pomeranian Rescue, who together coordinate rescue, medical care, and fundraising for the dogs.
