Giant hogweed threat resurfaces in Western New York parks

LANCASTER, N.Y. — Giant hogweed — a dangerous, invasive plant — keeps popping up across Western New York.

First, the dangerous, invasive plant was spotted last month along the Buffalo River shoreline, according to the Erie County Parks, Recreation & Forestry.
