European versus U.S. sunscreen: How to best protect yourself from the sun’s rays

CLEVELAND — Euclid Hospital Emergency Department’s Medical Director Dr. Ryan Stegenga is encouraging people to take precautions while in the sun as UV index reaches “very high” levels this holiday weekend.

UV forecasts show most of Ohio as experiencing UV Index levels between 8 and 10 this weekend, which the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) classifies as “very high.”
