First Alert: Hot and humid Fourth of July weekend ahead

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The holiday weekend will be hot and humid! High temperatures will climb into the lower to mid-90s, and the added humidity will make it feel even warmer outdoors. As for rain chances, while they’re never zero, they’ll be much lower than the widespread activity we experienced through late June and early July.

After the storms and showers passed, skies cleared up nicely all over Central and South Alabama. Perfect backdrop for all the firework displays. Overnight lows will fall into the lower to mid-70s under mostly clear skies.
