Our wonderful holiday weekend weather in the Philadelphia region continues Saturday, with sunshine and seasonable temperatures in the upper 80s. Overnight skies will be mostly clear and lows will dip to the mid-60s.
Humidity begins to creep in tomorrow and temperatures notch upward to 90. The skies will be sunny with some high clouds. At night isolated showers or storms are possible south and east of the city.
We also have an air quality alert for sensitive groups in the state of Delaware Saturday. In the afrternoon and evening, sunny skies and the heat will enhance ozone formation, and concentrations will get to the Code Orange level.
Sensitive groups include the elderly, the very young and people with health conditions, especially lung conditions. Members of these groups should limit their time outdoors in the hottest parts of the day on Saturday. Conditions look better for Sunday and Monday.
