RCSD asking for feedback on smartphone policy before state’s restrictions go in effect

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester City School District is asking for feedback on its electronic device policy before the state’s restrictions on smartphones in schools go into effect this fall.

RCSD is asking people to take a seven-question survey to provide feedback on the current plan to approach the state’s policy. You can take the survey here and see a draft of RCSD’s electronic devices policy here.

There will also be a meeting on Tuesday, July 8, on the policy. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the central office on 131 West Broad Street, room 3A/B.
