KCII Severe Weather Action Team Responds Saturday

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of Washington and Johnson Counties in southeast Iowa at around 3:15p.m. Saturday. Radar indicated hazards included 60mph wind gusts, three quarters of an inch in diameter hail and heavy rainfall. More than 500 total customers were reported to be without power after storms moved through Keota, Wellman and Kalona Saturday afternoon.
