Arlington to Host Community Meeting on Roadway Improvements for 2025 Reclamation & Concrete Program

The Arlington Public Works Department is opening the floor for dialogue with a community meeting on July 10, detailing the 2025 Reclamation & Miscellaneous Concrete Program, an initiative aimed at upgrading the city’s roadways starting this month.

Scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Arlington Public Library – Southwest Branch, the event will offer residents a close look at what to expect, the various improvements planned and they can bring their queries directly to those steering the project into motion; the meeting is set to feature a short presentation that will shed light on the scope followed by a question-and-answer segment, as per the City of Arlington.

With an estimated completion timeline stretching to July 2026, the Public Works Department has designed the program to tackle an array of infrastructural concerns, the bones beneath the roads we traverse, the expansion of the asphalt skins that contour our daily commutes, and the mending of sidewalks which bear the silent witness to our pedestrian endeavors…
