KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The University of Kansas Health System has reported 37 firework-related injuries.
Of the 37 patients, 29 were male and 8 were female. Ages of those injured ranged from as young as two years old to 58 years old.
The health system reported that the most common injuries were to the face, legs, hand, thighs, and chest. The most common type of firework causing injuries were sparklers, mortars, smoke bombs and bottle rockets…
