ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque’s own Abraham “Hammer” Perez will be back in the boxing ring on July 12th, in El Paso, Texas. Currently 11-0 (6 KO’s), Perez will fight for the first time as a professional outside of New Mexico, as he takes on his toughest challenge yet in Angel Geovanny Meza Morales (9-3-3).
“With this fight coming up, I know he is a pretty durable opponent, just based off of his record. You know, I don’t watch any film, but pretty soon I am going to have to, right? I am expecting him to be more of an inside fighter and a pressure fighter. So, I am going to have to work a little more on the outside and stick that jab and just be a little more quicker on my feet. This is going to be the first time that I am on DAZN, so that’s pretty exciting”, said Abraham Perez.
This will be Abraham’s first bout that will be shown on DAZN, and he hopes that more exposure will bring in bigger bouts. He is confident that he will earn another win, and the 26-year-old boxer is also just grateful to still be in the ring.
