BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A cross that previously stood atop St. Vincent’s Hospital is finding a new home at a church in Arizona.
Cullman County residents, Tony and Veronica Camardella, stepped in to help transport the cross. The Camardella’s run an RV outreach ministry, travelling to RV parks and camp grounds to “spread God’s love.”
They say that a member of Tony’s small church group asked for help getting the cross to Arizona, help the Camardella’s were happy to provide.
The Camardella’s began their journey to the west on Saturday morning, July 5. Tony said they hadn’t even made it out of Birmingham when people began honking their horns, waving at them and flashing their thumbs up…
