Gastonia Man Charged with Multiple Felonies in Gaston County Drug and Weapons Bust

In a recent crackdown on narcotics and illegal weapons in Gaston County, NC, 41-year-old Steven Lamar Snider of Gastonia has been arrested on multiple felony charges, as announced by the Gaston County Police Department. The arrest came after a thorough investigation by the department’s Special Investigations Unit, which culminated with the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force detaining Snider earlier yesterday.

During the operation on May 22, when authorities executed a search warrant at Snider’s residence, he was notably absent, leading to his status as a fugitive until this morning’s apprehension; Snider’s home yielded quantities of methamphetamine and a firearm, prompting an intensive search. Facing eight felony charges ranging from drug possession to the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine, and weapon possession as a felon, Snider is currently held without bond in Gaston County Jail.
