Deputy Assaulted During Arrest of Wanted Felon
July 6, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on July 1st just after 9:30 a.m., one of our Deputies was injured after
being violently assaulted while attempting to arrest a wanted felon near the Fresno River and 145.
