This Day in History: Statue of Liberty first revealed in 2006

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – This Day in History, a 72-foot, replica of the Statue of Liberty was erected in Hickory Hill in 2006 with a few small changes.

This statue is holding a cross and a tablet resembling the Ten Commandments with a scripture written on it just outside the World Overcomers Church.

Pastor Alton Williams told his congregation that he got the idea for this statue from the huge three-cross display you can see outside of Bellevue Baptist Church…
