July 1, 2025 – The American College of Cardiology (ACC), a global leader dedicated to transforming cardiovascular care and improving heart health, has awarded Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute its “HeartCARE National Distinction of Excellence.” Memorial becomes just the third facility in Florida, and the only one south of Vero Beach, to earn this recognition.
The designation is the highest level of recognition granted by the ACC. It is awarded to hospitals that consistently exceed national benchmarks for cardiovascular care, actively participate in registry-based performance measurement and quality initiatives, promote a culture of team-based care, continuous improvement, and transparency, and lead community education and outreach efforts to support heart health.
