By the time the Sunday morning sun breached the horizon, the five kayakers were already well away from the beaches of Maumee Bay Sate Park and marveling at the many-hued dawn skies.
“People think you’re crazy getting up that early in the morning, but it was awesome,” said Jane Walther, one of the early morning kayakers who signed up with Pop Up Paddle Adventures for one of the company’s Sunday sunrise excursions. “I’d absolutely do it again.”
