More than 60 San Patricio County students recently received scholarships from a regional community foundation that is aimed at helping students pay for a college education in their chosen field.
On June 28, the Coastal Bend Community Foundation hosted its annual Scholarship Brunch at NorthShore Country Club in Portland. The annual event is meant to honor the recipients of CBCF scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year
CBCF awarded a total of $629,070 in scholarships to a combined 264 students across its seven-county service area, which includes Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio counties.
