Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders joined the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance on Saturday to help kick off the state’s summer nutrition programs aimed at feeding children during the school break.
The event marked the launch of three USDA-funded initiatives across Arkansas: ready-to-eat meals served at schools, multi-day meal boxes available for pickup, and the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) program, which provides families with funds to purchase groceries.
