LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — A Little Rock mother was arrested this week after her 9-year-old child shot two other minors in her home with an unsecured gun. The incident has prompted gun advocates to emphasize the importance of firearm safety, particularly for those with children in their care.
Nathan House, owner of Arkansas Armory, stressed the critical nature of responsible gun ownership. “We live in a world with a lot of firearms, and as a gun owner, if we have the responsibility to learn how to use a firearm and use it effectively, but also to store it responsibly,” said House.
